I've left this as one document, so you can print it out if desired.  Check out each of my three events:

The Lost Tower of Taladas

Description of Event:

A Tower of High Sorcery, lost since the age of might, returns. What powerful remnants of
that ancient time lie waiting for you? Can you uncover the secrets before the Dark Queen,
and changes the face of Krynn forever. Time is short and her minions are fierce and close behind.
A classic in it's fourth year after a brief absence. .

Introduction used at GenCon:

It's been a grueling week or so since you sat in the comfortable chairs in the palace. The Minotaur Emperor had summoned you to appear before him in Kristophan. Some of you are natives who's deeds are well known across the League. Others, have journeyed from Ansalon, chasing the fleeing Draconian armies across the ocean.

Before you sat an ancient white robed wizard, immediately recognizable as a leader in the Conclave of Wizards. He told you of a Dwarven community that discovered a strange construction jutting from the mountain after a earthquake a few weeks ago. Ancient manuscripts discovered recently tell of a tower of high sorcery unknown to any of the current leaders of the conclave. The document mentioned briefly an artifact from ancient times but gives no details. At first the scroll was thought to be a forgery, but when word of the Dwarf's discovery reached Ansalon, there was great excitement.

Unfortunately, the black robed wizards chose to inform the Dark Queen's minions, who covet what is contained in the tower. Quickly, word was sent to the allies in Taladas, and so here you stand in the Fianwar mountains. The Queen will surely send her followers in force, but you are determined to beat her to the prize and take it; Krynn's future depends on it.

After some negotiations with the Dwarven community, you approach the northern face of the mountain. As you pick your way up through the valley to the face of the rock, you see the hint of red in the sun. Gradually, you climb the face until, you are within 100 yards of a spire peaking out of the mountain top. Below is a cavern descending into the face of the rock.

Description of Event:

It's too incredible to believe. Does a remnant of the old Magic exist? Can it be used to help sorcerers become powerful again, or will it fall into the hands of the dragon minions? The Solomnic council needs the bravest companions to enter the dragon realms and find out. Now if we only knew what this mysterious character is hiding. Second year running and better than ever.

Introduction used at GenCon:

The last few years have been prosperous ones. Your band came together in the turmoil of the Dragon purge. You worked along side other races to keep Solomnia free and mold the future of Krynn in a world devoid of the power of the old magic and the wisdom of the Gods.

Side-by-side Randall and Windsbreath fought the Knights of Takhisis for control of the Vingaard frontier. The Legions of Steel and Knights of Solomnia banded together to push the draconians and dark knights back. Only the support of Skie held the army together. Cinder in his envy of Malice and Skie continues to probe the frontiers looking for an opportunity to gain more land.

Luthana also is noted throughout the realm. She was the first to stand by Palin during the forming of the Academy of Sorcery. Too young to remember the old magic, her drive to research the possibilities.

Only last year, Geralt joined the group. Old enough to remember the gifts of the gods, Geralt was one of the first to undertake the pilgrimage to the Citadel of Light.

And all along, Briarnot remained cheerful and very irritating. Roughbeard has the saddest of stories. He found himself locked out of his home after a quest. The Dwarven kingdom sealed with his family inside. His journey to the free lands was physically challenging and cost him his eye and his trade as a jeweler.

As the purge fades into memory, a fragile tranquility descends the lands of Solamnia. Although controlled by Skie, the dark knights keep the northern slice of the peninsula under tight control. Bandits and renegades are dealt with severely and some trade is beginning to flow between the two areas. Only items of high value are worth the risk, but groups of tradesman and even pilgrims have taken the journey north towards Palanthas. The stories returned are rarely pleasant, but this has not stopped other brave adventurers.

Once again, one becomes two, then three as your band gradually finds one another again. Once again you find yourself perched on stools inside a small pub formerly called the dragon’s tooth. The antique burned wood sign now has large gashes in it. During the dark years of the purge, the word "tooth" was deface and replaced with the word "doom". The name has stuck and you return to the "dragon’s doom" whenever you find yourself in Solanthus. Of course, your forced to push your way through well wishers and others who want to see famous characters like yourselves.

Description of Event:

Dragonlance fans! Forged in the Age of Might, an artifact is entrusted to several Kender and ragtag friends. Can they protect it from the Dark Queen and save Krynn? Can you survive her minions? Can the other characters survive the Kender?! Fourth year running for this frantic adventure. You'll probably need to come early if you want to play one of the Kender.

Introduction used at GenCon:

A Kender can even get on a cleric of mishikal's bad side. You finally gave into the constant badgering from the three Kender locked up with you. You started with how you found an ancient artifact in a long forgotten tower of high sorcery.

" A magnificent statue of two great weapons melted together. Reorx had welded the weapon used by Palidine and Takhisis together during a great war in ancient times. This artifact contains great power and could possibly solve many of Krynns problems. Alas, I digress....it was foolish to expect that Tahkisis would allow the conclave of wizards to gain control of the device. We were nearing the bottom of the valley when a large force of draconians attacked. There was a small band at the tower, but we thought that was most of them. The Knight fell early in the battle, as a victim to an exploding draconian. Its eirie to these vile creatures destroy life even in their own death. A large dragon attacked from the rear, killing Bess, our archer, quickly. The rest is a blur, but I gather by looking around that most of us made it. Mark my words we must escape and destroy the artifact. What your story, though I'm a bit wary to ask. "

One Kender broke into a long story, starting at his birth. However, another broke in and said, "Most races do not need a reason to put Kender in prison! I like the idea of destroying an artifact, I never did that before, when do we start, how do we do it, can I do it, will it hurt somebody...."

After an hour of questions all drifted to sleep, waiting for an opportunity to escape.

Support Files:

Most people playing the game want to be Kender...why?...Because they are nuts and simply a riot to play!  However, there's only three so plan on coming early and snatching one up!

Character Sheets.....

Description of Event:

Join Kyle, Eric, Kenny, Stan and the gang as they face off against a great menace out to take revenge on South Park. Can they save the town and keep the Cheesy Poof Marathon on schedule. Will Chef think of a new song before it's too late? Milder language than TV, but just as fun. Serious South Park addicts only!

Introduction used at GenCon:

Well, there isn't any yet.  Primarily because there are (were...after all I don't know when you'll be reading this) new episodes in February '98.  This has forced me to consider other pieces of the puzzle...what about Terrance and Phillip's TV special, maybe Mega-Striesand will return, maybe....GOD the possibilities boggle the mind.   So, I'm not committing to a final story line until I can see all the new episodes!!!

The basic story line has taken shape, but still I want to see them all first..

Game Mechanics:

The game system for South Park: BeefCake!! is home made to take advantage of the unique attitudes and abilities of SP characters...The rules are preliminary, since I'm still play testing them.

The basic element is the "cheesy poof".  Cheesy poofs (CP) are played to help the character perform actions and come up with witty quips ("I'll fill you full of lead!").  Each player will be granted a bag of CP's.  I mean this literally...you get a bag of Cheesy Poofs.  Spend them wisely, or eat them when your hungry.  It really doesn't matter.  However, things can get tough when you run low ("Oh my God, they killed Kenny!").

Otherwise, it's generally a skills based system.  Of course, each character from South Park has special skills....so be careful of the geneticist!

Characters:

Of course, the party will be made up of our core team--Eric, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny.   However, Pip and Wendy will be joining the fun.  And there will be a special, super-secret, character....

Hopefully, I can add much more detail as GenCon nears...

Hope to see you at my events!
